Myah Mayhew is the Operations Manager and Marketing Coordinator as well as a private piano and voice instructor here at Jupiter Music! Myah is passionate about helping students of all ages and experience levels develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. With a teaching style that combines strong musical foundations with organization, encouragement, and personalized instruction, she strives to make every lesson engaging, goal-oriented, and enjoyable. Whether students are preparing for performances, learning their favorite songs, or building fundamental technique, Myah is committed to helping each student reach their full potential. Outside of teaching, she enjoys performing, collecting vinyl, fashion, and spending time in nature.

Mitchell Breedlove is a piano, voice, and violin instructor at Jupiter Music! From a young age, Mitchell has had a deep passion for music and hopes to share that same excitement with every student he teaches. Mitchell enjoys working with students of all ages and experience levels, whether it’s helping a beginner learn their first notes or guiding an advanced student through a challenging piece. He finds great joy in watching those “lightbulb moments” as concepts click and confidence grows.His teaching style centers on making learning music both fun and meaningful, by building a strong foundation in music theory while encouraging students to explore the music they enjoy. Mitchell strives to create lessons that are engaging, rewarding, and personalized to each student’s goals! Outside the studio, Mitchell enjoys cooking, playing video games, listening to music, and performing as a solo artist throughout DFW!

Grace Mitchell is a piano and voice instructor at Jupiter Music. Grace is passionate about helping students develop their skills and knowledge, while encouraging them along the way to discovering their individual voice in music. Through combining the music styles and theory of traditional and modern music, Grace strives to help each student have a broader understanding of what makes music valuable. Whether a student is starting out on their musical journey, or looking to challenge themselves, Grace works to provide an adaptable instruction style that meets each student where they are at. Overall, she is committed to providing an environment to peak curiosity, grow students, and just have fun! Outside of the studio, you can find Grace composing music, serving in worship ministries at her local church home, or starting a new crochet project.

Hey! I’m Cale Golden, and I have been a guitar instructor at Jupiter Music for almost 4 years. I’m pursuing a degree in music from the University of North Texas, where I study clarinet performance. I’ve toured the country as a guitarist and love to play many genres like jazz and rock. Music is the greatest gift to my life, and I’m very grateful that I get to spread and share music through teaching.

Adriana started teaching voice and piano at Jupiter in May this year and is currently completing her Bachelor’s in Choral Music Education at the University of North Texas. Adriana is involved in multiple choirs and music organizations at UNT and is also a member of the choir at St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Frisco. She loves teaching students of all ages and focuses on a fun learning environment!

Preston Watkins is another one of our talented guitar instructors here at Jupiter Music! Preston has been playing guitar for over a decade, and has a passion for giving people the education he wishes he had when starting out. From performing live in front of huge crowds, to producing music in the studio, Preston is dedicated to offering as much knowledge to his students as possible, tailored to whatever they are interested in. Outside of teaching, Preston enjoys filmmaking and photography as well as basketball!

Sidney Williams is a private voice and beginner piano instructor here at Jupiter Music. Sidney is committed to helping students learn new musical skills while also making lessons fun and engaging! She hopes to provide an environment that will make students comfortable and confident when performing, while deepening their love and understanding of the music they are performing. Sidney specializes in classical voice as well as worship music, but is dedicated to helping students with any style of music that they are passionate about. Outside of teaching, she enjoys leading worship at church, spending time with friends and family, and going on walks!

Music has been at the core of who JP is for as long as he can remember — He got his first drum set when he was 3 years old. For the last 20 years, it has been the joy of his life to play, perform, and share music with the people he loves, and to call it his full-time profession. Whether it's drums, piano, recording, or music production, nothing excites JP more than watching students discover their own unique musical voice and unlock their full potential!

John Porterfield is an acoustic/electric guitar instructor at Jupiter Music! With 12 years of guitar experience, he is enthusiastic about equipping his students for musical excellence, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of the arts! John’s teaching emphasis is centered around personalized goals for each student which prioritize fun and learning. John’s dream is to help those he teaches to be enriched by the joys of learning this beautiful instrument, and sharing their art with others. Outside of teaching, John loves to read, lead worship at his church, play video games, and spend time with loved ones!

Scott Schaffer is a professional pianist and trombonist in the DFW area. Since the age of 6, Scott has played the piano and now performs in many churches throughout DFW.  He also enjoys bringing his passion for music to teaching where he hopes to inspire the next generation of musicians. Scott graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Trombone Performance from the Frost School of Music and currently attends the University of North Texas for a master’s degree in the jazz program as well.
